Description
This house design is inspired by a popular 6m x 7m layout featured on the House Design Ideas YouTube channel, a video with over 17 million views and more than 200,000 likes. While the content creator’s design offers a strong foundation, we’ve incorporated a few thoughtful modifications to enhance functionality and privacy.
In the original concept, the designer included a small toilet on the first floor, but we found that a single, centrally located common bathroom on this level better serves the space and maximizes usability. By placing Bedroom 1’s entrance to the side near the bathroom, we achieve a larger, uninterrupted wall in the living room, providing an open and spacious feel and more options for furniture placement. This placement also enhances privacy for the bedroom, giving occupants a quieter retreat.
To ensure durability and cost-effectiveness, we also made sure all walls are aligned vertically. This structural alignment reinforces the house’s stability, simplifies construction, and reduces material costs, making the design not only more efficient but also more economical.
These small yet impactful adjustments improve the flow, privacy, and robustness of the original design while maintaining the compact charm and efficiency that made the video so popular.
